"Tanis was great! I did the planning sort of 'backwards,' and didn't start looking for a planner until about 3-4 months outside of the wedding. She was so responsive and attentive and paid great attention to detail. She took the reins once I paid her a deposit and ran with it. It's worth it to get a planner even for day of, because they will take over everything so there is nothing you have to worry about, except for having fun with your girls and getting ready, etc. Tanis has you fill out a lot of paperwork before hand so that she has everything she needs at least a week before, to help things run more smoothly. "I couldn't have done it without Tanis!! I was a bride from Hong Kong and my wedding took place on 1st of July in Charleston. I found Tanis on the internet and the entire 9 months before the wedding week, I could only communicate with her from overseas. It didn't stop me from believing in Tanis' professionalism, which was shown to me through her email responses, paperwork (electronic ones, of course). Even during the month prior to the wedding, things still seemed not to be in place, Tanis' coordination and fast reaction told me I can leave it all to her, when I was thousands of miles away!! What impressed me most was, I selected a lovely cozy venue and was intended just for banquet, but because right from the beginning I wanted both ceremony and banquet to take place at the same location, Tanis helped me to sort that out. She was able to carry out a smooth transformation of the small space from a setting for ceremony to that for cocktail hour, and in turn, for seated-dinner.
